1This past weekend, 11 current brothers and many more Alumni joined together in New Jersey to learn how they can each improve different aspects of the chapter. The Carlson Leadership Conference provides brothers with the unique experience to learn about other chapters from around the country and how to effectively improve their own. Sophmore CT Alpha brother Aiden O’Connor was blown away by the experience and said: “I was blind and now I see”. All our brothers came home filled with new ideas that they cannot wait to begin to implement, one of which is a resurrected focus on the once broken Balanced Map App. Current Vice President of Member Development, Shekar Sunderesh said, “The app is in the process of going zero to a hundred real quick. ” As for the awards the boys hauled in, Mean Dean Zacchio brought home Recruiter of the Year and Reily Enos receive Best Chaplain. The Oscars were also this weekend, but the Academy Awards have absolutely nothing on the thrill of the Carlson Award Ceremony.
