UConn’s SigEp chapter has kept up its ambition with fundraising for those in need, continuing with its polar plunge fundraiser for Huskython over the past two weeks.
Brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon at UConn have been actively fundraising for Huskython over the past few weeks, and teamed up with UConn’s Habitat for Humanity group to take part in a polar plunge fundraiser for the cause as well. Huskython is an 18 hour dance marathon at UConn that raises money and awareness for Connecticut Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The group jumped into frigid waters at Coventry Lake in an effort to fundraise for the cause and had a great time doing it! Afterwards, those who plunged warmed up with some hot cocoa and coffee before heading back to campus.
The brothers would like to thank those who helped in supporting the fundraiser and to UConn’s Habitat for Humanity crew for partnering with our chapter in plunging today!
